Job description

As a Technical Sales Engineer you are responsible for collecting technical information for projects that come in through our sales team. You communicate intensively with customers and internal colleagues to collect the necessary details for the design of single or multi-drive setups. Based on this information, you develop concepts, create the first designs and draw up extensive quotations with technical drawings. It is up to you to follow up on these offers and, if necessary, visit customers to explain your solutions.

During the project implementation, you work closely with the Project Coordinator, monitor the planning and keep customers informed of any deviations. You evaluate supplied technical information from colleagues and explain it to customers, where you have sufficient technical product knowledge to answer questions.

You are part of a pleasant sales team that is young in mind. You follow up on the outstanding projects / quotations and of course ensure accurate and correct accounting for associated information. You are also, together with your colleagues, responsible for achieving a monthly order intake and with your driven technical and commercial attitude, you do not turn your hand to achieve the agreed goals.

What are you bringing?

By nature, you have a service-oriented attitude and taking care of customers is right up your alley. You are used to working on projects and playing a key role in them. You can switch effortlessly from a phone call with the customer, to a meeting with the Project Coordinator, to thinking up and calculating a technical solution. You are enthusiastic and proud of your product and know how to convey this to the customer.

Furthermore, you are;
- In possession of a completed MBO degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Very good communication skills (also in English);
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn;
- Willing to follow additional professional training or courses.
